Sadly, hypertension, high cholesterol, type 2 diabetes, and clogged arteries are no longer exclusive to adults. With the rise of childhood obesity, more and more kids are experiencing health problems much earlier in life, making the need for action more critical than ever!
Part of the solution to addressing this problem must be prioritizing wellness within the school environment.
