Your Voice Made the Difference: Prevention Funding Restored to Delaware Budget!

Last Wednesday the Delaware Joint Finance Committee restored some of the Governor's proposed funding cuts for health programs, and more specifically, tobacco prevention and cessation programs. You, our You're the Cure advocates, deserve our deepest gratitude for your efforts--the meetings, phone calls and emails you made to your lawmakers to help make this happen. THANK YOU!

While we are still concerned that this is simply a one-time fix, we are pleased that the funding was restored, and will remain committed to helping protect tobacco prevention funding in the future.

Thanks again to our fantastic Delaware You're the Cure advocates!
