Join us in Columbus on November 13th to meet with your legislators to urge their support of pulse oximetry screenings for all Ohio newborns! Pulse oximetry testing will ensure that every newborn baby in Ohio receives a simple, non-invasive blood oxygen test that help to determine if the child has an undiagnosed Critical Congenital Heart Defect (CCHD). Congenital heart defects are a leading birth defect in the United States and the No. 1 killer of infants with birth defects. Join us to let your voice be heard on this important issue. Simply register and make plans to join us--we'll take care of the rest!
The registration deadline is November 2, 2012
Before the actual event, we will host briefing conference calls to allow all participants to learn about logistics for the event and tips on talking to legislators about this issue. There will be two call options to help fit it into your schedule – you need only attend one.
