The 2nd Annual Power to End Stroke Luncheon and Health Expo takes place on June 2, 2012 at the Embassy Suites in Cleveland. In addition to a heart-healthy lunch, there will be a panel discussion about the financial burden of stroke, FREE blood pressure screenings, and vendors.
Did you know the burden of stroke is greater among minorities than in any other group? Power To End Stroke is an education and awareness campaign embracing and celebrating the culture, energy, creativity and lifestyles of African and Hispanic Americans.

AHA partners with Jack and Jill of America
Jack and Jill of America Inc. is proud to join forces with the Power To End Stroke to raise awareness of stroke risk factors and warning signs among African-Americans.
Both organizations share common priorities and interest in reaching African-Americans with important messages related to stroke - its risk factors, warning signs and treatment options. Through this relationship, PTES and Jack and Jill will also work to educate youth about nutrition and fitness as part of a long-term strategy to prevent stroke.
